Price: A 10% share is $ 8,000, which covers all costs to date, breeding, veterinary, farrier, agistment, breaking in, initial training, transport, promotion and other related costs.  (Full purchase share is available on Bartercard)

Owners are also invited to join the racing syndicate with cash monthly contributions, for a 10% share in the on-going costs of training and racing, of NZ$350 per month. A full Disclosure Statement is available.

Rita is a beautifully bred filly with the looks, pedigree, and attitude to make her mark on the track. She was broken in by a very experienced trainer who commented she has exactly the right attitude and temperament to be a real contender from the get-go. Her dam, Kalahari Princess, is by sire of sires, and leading broodmare sire, O'Reilly.  Daughters of O'Reilly have produced stakes winners such as Pride of Jenni, Mo'unga, Orchestral and Silent Achiever. Kalahari Princess was herself purchased for $100,000 at the Premier Yearling Sale and is the dam of Basarwa, currently racing in Australia, with earnings to date in excess of $200,000. She is also a full sister to Mighty K who raced in Hong Kong with winnings of HKD $4,298,899.

It should also be noted that prizemoney is now paid proportionately back to 10th place getters for all races, except those specifically detailed in the Racing Programme Booklet.
